The cord itself is of a generous enough length not to cause issues and allow you to sit a reasonable distance away from the screen
What is new about these is the cloth cover the the ear muffs rather than a leatherette
Competitiveness
The sound blasterx h6 is one of the best headsets ive used in this sort of mid to lower end price band
Specifically the bass is taut and strong plus mid and highend frequencies are clear without being too harsh
