They arent loud as they tumble with the clothes in the dryer

When possible we hand clothes out in the summer but in bad weather we must use the clothes dryer

I do not usually have a great amount of static cling but the boys have polyester shirts which produce static when more than 1 is in the wash

I also experimented with adding 12 cup vinegar to the wash or rinse cycle or just on top of the clothes in the front loader washing machineall of the ways were more effective in making the clothes softer than using dryer sheets

The towels washed with just vinegar because they still had excess laundry detergent in them from previous washes came out softer than ever before when i dried them with 3 of the sockcovered aluminum balls

The aluminum balls compress as they continually hit the sides of the dryer drum and they remain balled up in the socks
