Quality

Great mallet seems to be very high quality and arrived on time

Love the product and purchased all 3 sizes though i now find myself using mostly the larger size hammer

I thought about giving this tool 4 stars because it is so soft but that would be wrong because it is awesome at protecting your product

Packaging/appearance

I have the 12oz medium hammer and absolutely love it

I use these for applying sandblast maskstencil to rough natural stone and it works perfectly getting the maskstencil into all the crevaces

Competitiveness

I use this sorbothane mallet for so more things than i ever thought

Delivers the impact of a 16oz dead blow mallet with a squishy gelatinous head that leaves no marks or dings

I was familiar with sorbothane from other products

Fast forward the mallet has now become a staple in my tool box for example the other day i was hanging a mirror using sort of a channel bracket and needed to tap the mirror into place well any other hammer would have nicked up the frame or worse broke the mirror not this mallet worked like a charm although you could still probably break the mirror with it

The business end of the mallet is virtually incapable of marring the struck item yet it provides adequate persuasion to drive parts together

If anything it may be too light and i have to resort to another of my dead blow mallets to persuade more difficult pieces in place

My only negative about this mallet is the wood handle which is kind of cheap and had rough spots

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

For fifty bucks it should have had a hightech composite handle

The head is large so you will not easily fit this into tight spots
