Product is for a canoe or kayak. If both are flat bottomed this products works as advertised.

I used two ratchet straps to hold the canoe in place and am satisfied with the end result
If you are not handy or able to do this any boat with a keel will not sit flat on the carrier and it will be unstable
I added 134 strips to the top surfaces of the unit to allow for the keel
Price
As this unit is priced well i did not mind doing this
A little pricey for what it is but works well

If like mine your canoe has a keel the canoe will not sit flat on the unit
