Pros & Cons
Pros
Carriers have been heavily used for many trips to the vet with our colony of feral cats. Kitty recommends this. The carrier seems to be of good quality and comfortably fits our 22lb maine *.
I drive a maxima and the two carriers take up my entire backseat. The carrying strap is strong and is actually pretty comfortable while moving them with my cats inside. The only downside is the carrier is bulky and heavier than smaller plastic ones.
The carrier is spacious, yet secure. You can convert from seeing out of nearly every side to going opaque, which may be more calming in times of stress.
The carrier is large and roomy also sturdy. The cushion is comfy and it's low enough for him to jump in and out without needing a step. Also fat cushion and sturdy floor.
The bed is removable for easy washing. It is easy to assemble though.
Cons
Despite being sedated, my cat naturally got upset at times in the car. The carrier's netting is cheaply made as well. I ended up having to give it away because i couldn't risk her escaping anymore.
