Pros
Even the dvd mages shown much more sharpness and color is so dynamic and solid perhaps due to upscaling. This product is beautiful.
The player loads them up and is ready to play in seconds. Works on prime video and youtube streaming. What a joy it is to be able to play them and enjoy them.
Cons
High end player simply asks for the internet password. These are not region free, they are just regular blu-ray players. Going back to old wi-fi blu-ray player and will just have to suffer with * wi-fi connection.
could not play dvd from region b (europe) on the screen it says it does not recognize the (euro) disc. When pressed the button for region 2 on the remote (the blue button) it still reads, “this disc will only play on region b players”.
This is not intended as a poor review of the seller. It’s the company that i had to ship the product to that altered the product. What a difference between sony's high end products and this cheap junk.
Sony has two items with the same model number(bdp-bx370) one of which is multi-region and one is not. Will be purchasing a different player for the other room. No hdmi cable was included.

So this sony is pretty expensive but it actually works as advertised

I have another sony region free bluray player ubpx700 but i think that region free ubpx800m2 is better than that
