They can be folded up so theyre somewhat out of the way when not in use

And while it is generally there is an area around where the headstock of the instrument would sit that feels more like a hard rubber than a plastic

The wall plate is also pretty chunky and has a fair bit of surface area

They seem secure to the wall and dont seem to be going anywhere

The wall mount have a rubber type finish on the inside of the bracket so when the guitar is place 1 is doesnt move about and 2 doesnt pick up scratches when you pick up or place the guitar back on the mount

The mounts do have a raised edge so the guitar wont slide up and fall out easily
