You most likely got 2 of them and they are stuck together

If you hold it on each end and bend it slightly you will hear them separate

The assembly wasnt too bad once i understood the snap on pieces that hold up the shelves have a special groove to line up

Theres a slight learning curve to assembly if youve never put this type of shelf together before

I had to retry the plastic pieces several times before i actually figured out how they connected

I tried the first only to have it prove impossible to put together without scratching the heck out of a highly visible connection pointwithout that last connection it was useless
