I purchased it because my husband was commuting to work with an open china mug dirtying the car and creating a potential driving hazard as it did not fit into the receptacle well

Now this mug without handles fits perfectly and as i said keeps beverages hot which the standard mug did not

Its more like a thermos because you have to completely unscrew the cap and set the cap aside when you are drinking

Its ceramic inside and out a nice and inert material so im not concerned with any form of leeching

Cming from using larger bottle to this it does seem small but the design makes up for this
