The right handle has a raised section that allows the paddler to know which way the blade is facing- which can be a lifesaver. Extendable handle helps when standing vs. Sitting. Only complaint is that the adjustable handle rotates.

I'm not a paddling expert, so this review is from a more casual perspective. It is great for collapsing small to stow in kayak, but jiggles slightly. The only uncomfortable thing is that it comes with a silicone grip on one handle.

I'm sure it won't last long judging by how poor quality it is. I feel sure amazon will take this product back or replace it.

Should have stuck to my preference for a heavy duty rafting paddle. The adjuster is a telescope style with a spring that makes it hard to adjust. The blade has a weird scoop shape that doesn't seem to help. They say it is carbon fiber but it is not.
