Both ends are threaded to the 42mm t mount standard meaning that you can securely attach the camera on one end and the telescope to the other at least for most modern telescopes

I noticed this right away and having read the reviews i sought to figure out whats going on before i tried to tighten anything up and possibly strip out the threads

I tried installing short 3mm x 6mm metric screws from a hardware store to address this
