This is a wood gas stove which means it burns at a higher and more consistent heat, is cleaner, and more efficient. Gets hot relatively fast (between 5-10 minutes), will take you a while to master your firecraft skills.

Great product and the price is true no shipping and handling fees
First off this is a great little stove and is well worth the price
But thats the price of cooking over a fire
Competitiveness
Well worth the money with good hard wood i can get this stove to boil water faster than a trangia and can even slow cook over the coals
I prefer to us it over my jetboil
I just put the lid loose at the bottom of my toaks bag or on the top
