The solar (strange and even confusing name for a great product) works flawlessly and is worth much more than it's cost. Saves radio settings when changing car battery. Allowed safe work on horn switch and contacts.
Cons
Item was used and damaged. It is to short. Changed battery. Unplugged device. Lost the clock and the low tire pressure alarm.

It will be helpful if the product description page inludes a pinout diagram of the device out of all the similar memory savers sold at amazon i came across only one product description that include detail pinout diagrams for both the obd port the saver

After reading reviews of other products reporting they had 12v going to the wrong pin i chose this one based on reviews

Im sure ill never actually plug this into another vehicles lighter but i purchased a separate female lighter receptacle cord anyway and attached a 9v battery to it for a power source

Obviously you can do this with just the solar cord and the 9v battery adapter but im an idiot and say 34what if
