This one is much nicer than the ones i had as a kid it looks and feels like a light blanket and the wires are almost impossible to detect

It warms well and survived two washings already whereas 4 of the last 6 warming throws i purchased quit working after one pass through the washer on gentle

The only thing about it i mind is that its a little easier than id like to kick out the plug into the blanket but the blankets i had as a kid always failed eventually sometimes quite alarmingly with sparks andor smoke around the blanket plug so perhaps this is a feature rather than a flaw

The electric blanket is the best one i have ever owned however we only received one controller for our queen sized electric blanket when the product description states two controllers for the queen and king sized blankets
