This was not the highest quality and it slid around a bit on a leather sofa but it easily survived 2 kittens going through the kitty equivalent of the terrible twos

I use a slightly damp microfiber cloth wipe for removing the pet hair from it and although i have not yet had occasion to put it through the washing machine i think it will wash up just fine
