Pros

The sofa scratcher is easy to assemble and easy to plop under the corner of the couch. There is a base that slides under the foot of the sofa to keep the scratcher stable.

These stand in front of the sofa arms to protect them. I have no doubt these have saved my sofa from endless * from the claws of my sweet demons.

The base seems a little thicker on mine than the one in the pictures shown on the product page. My other cat is perfect and never scratches furniture!

Cons

The scratcher leans out from the couch and ends up being an injury risk for the cat.

For as much as it sells for, the least it should do is stay upright. Do not buy. It is still bew a d unused.
