We just rescued a shelter cat and she immediately started using the couch as her scratching post ignoring the existing scratching posts throughout the house

With this they show no interest in my furniture because they have to much fun digging their nails into this scratcher

Only down side is i thought my 20 year old off white sofa was still in great shape but it looks gray next to the shiny new beige scratcher

I would like to a smaller size i have mine under my recliner leg so i have to push it over to the side so i elevate the legs

I bought some stick on scratch deterrent strips but realized that if they cant scratch there they will find another target to scratch
