Pros & Cons
Pros
The author is an experienced college soccer coach in the sec. The books are so valuable the coaches make the out of pocket purchase and give the team the books.
The audio book is really good. For a soccer dad of an obsessed 12 year old girl, this book a is great. This is a really good read for any child that is really interested in improving their soccer good.
It has a ton of great info. The simplicity of its structure makes it easy to return to it over and over as a reference.
Finished in 1 day and am ordering the second now. I have the paperback, which has 119 pages. For non readers it's effective short chapters are easy to digest.
Cons
Books by the name of soccer sense, and the mental game of soccer, and lately advanced soccer concepts for the elite player have nothing to do with coaching and are exclusively for the player. It's like a 7 year old could use this information.
Highlights
Quality
Im the parent of a fourteen year old player
The concepts arent complicated and neither is this game
Competitiveness
It teaches the fundamental tactics to improve anyone’s play
I recommend for both players and coaches
