Clip-on tuner is very sturdy and easy to read. The clamp is rubber coated, so it is not going to damage the instrument in any way. You won't have to worry about it falling off even while you're playing enthusiastically.

The brightness and clarity of the display screen is great in any light. The screen is bright as stated by others, and does not turn off until you stop playing. It is a bright color lcd screen making it easy to see.

This tuner comes with a battery that you need to install. I like not having the battery pre-installed as it makes me feel that i am getting the most of the battery life. If there is a negative - and it is a very small one, it is battery install.
