Pros

Johnny cat heavy duty liner to keep the pan clean & make it easier to throw out the batch when it gets soiled. No * fake scent.

This litter is the freshest and easiest to keep clean. It is easier to clean and is not gritty like other litters. They are more environmentally friendly to boot!

Dr. Elsey clumps nicely with #1 & 2 but since my cats like to dig and do their business at the bottom, clumping litter is cleaner. It is scoopable, but doesn't clump, which i did like about the clumping litters.

Cons

Poorly designed and ineffective product. The crystals are much much too large and the cat is not happy. These pellets are almost jelly bean size and really need to be much smaller.

What i do is just remove as many of the dirty pellets as i can with the scoop

Just wish the shipping wasnt half of the cost of the litter itself

The only thing is the shipping fee is like 6

Competitiveness

It has a clean scent as opposed to having a perfumey or chemical smell and does its job absorbing liquids

I also like that it is lighter colored than a competitive product so easier to clean

You will see wet litter and not smell anything but theres no perfumey odor masking it

Ive tried many clay litters prior the name brand the ones you see at petstores etc
