You will sink into it it isnt as firm as a normal mattress but not so much that it should cause any problems or at least it does not for me

The corners are pointed not rounded so the mattress protector will look a bit funny in these areas although im sure you could round them off with a knife

Hence i ordered this matress topper after a few other improvements and i can only reccomend it to everyone
