The only problem was the clip that was designed to hook to the dogs harness it was so difficult it was almost impossible to open

I augmented it with a short leash because 1 the clasp of the tether that came with was very hard to open and close—my hands weren’t strong enough to operate it and 2 and the tether was too short

Its true that the tethering is not the best system but it is not clear how else they could make it

You just have to make sure that the dogs leash is tied very short so that they cant get out of the seat
