Pros

This is a thicker cable than the one that came with the gunvault. It's also black so it matches the safe and the carpet in my vehicle. Regardless, this cable is sturdy and well made. The lockdown compact vault is compact and easy to store.

This has a nice slotted attachment for your box. The disk on the end is a bit large and you will probably have a bit of struggle getting it into the hole in any other brand lock boxes. This fits perfect in an older portable safe.

Cons

If you remove it from its package and find that it does not fit your box, the seller assesses you an unspecified restocking fee. This is not an upgraded cable.
