The best toy i bought this year. Seems fairly resilient to handling by a child who's not the most careful. Educational and good fun. Bought for my grandson's 11th birthday.

Everything snaps together with the wires and components fixed to plastic mounts that join with press studs. Being part of a broader snap-circuit line makes it highly versatile and modular.

Quality seems excellent loads of projects which increase in difficulty and enough to keep my daughter interested for at least a year or two
My boy is 6 and he enjoys playing with the set
Im not sure about the durability and quality as ive stumbled across some comments about broken electronics parts
For a five year old i think youre fine with the sc100 things like transistors are too complicated at that age
Price
The cost of a present that allows them to do so much is really great value
Packaging/appearance
Packaging is not great but the actual pieces are very good sturdy colourful great quality

Just the gripe is some of the boards named differently in experiments and not seen same in the parts
