Pros & Cons

Pros

The sand snake is the perfect solution for me. This snake sandbag is absolutely perfect for keeping water contained around a floor drain in my basement. The only thing i don't like is how when you seal the sand, you have the do it permanently.

I wish these were less expensive, but i'd not want the seller to compromise the quality. Purchased these for my mom a year ago.

I pressure wash outdoors and i needed something to dam up my water. Due to tree roots pushing walkway up, rain was being directed straight to the stairway. Saved many a flood situation.

After you unfold the liner it is open at the top to fill. Close the hook and loop fasteners (velcro) no more big mess.

Because of their weight, they conform perfectly to the floor/door and seal out all drafts. They fit in with any decor. If you fill them with slightly less sand than recommended, they are very flexible but still have enough heft.

Cons

The water just flows under them. It just becomes a big paperweight! Was unable to retrieve the liner.
