It's pressurized so it gives a nice spray. Also adjustable nozzle for custom spraying. Great backpack for a commercial applicator.
Cons
While trying to disconnect the hose that plastic part completely brock and it is impossible to connect the hose to the pump.

It doesnt keep pressure very long have to keep pumping almost constantly
This is not made to be used and tossed aside when it has a minor issue

Smith costs more but as is often the case in life you get what you pay for

Be warned though the pack is heavy when empty but when filled with 4 gallons of weedkiller it will give you a workout
It comes with a a foaming spray tip although i dont know what its purpose is and it also has another bag of stuff that is a mystery

A shoulder strap broke after two years but thats just because i leave it out in the elements most of the time
