Pros & Cons

The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

I love how securely it grips the rod, with no risk of marring the finish. A 7wt rod tends to overwhelm the retractor spring. I'm pretty confident that it will stretch and lead to slippage w/ medium to heavy usage.

Cons

Its basically an overpriced broach. It is held down by pressure. This thing is fragile.

The pin that fastens to your gear is very flimsy and prone to breaking or bending. The zinger attachment is junk and failed after a couple of outings. The o’pros 3rd hand belt clip rod holder is the better buy and performed better imo.

Competitiveness

Its a wellmade and holds the rod secure but would like to see an upgrade to some type of zinger attachment
