If you try really hard you may be able to close it but the laptops edges are not covered by the protection which defeats the whole purpose

While i am not about to drop my laptop to give this sleeve protection rating i am hopeful it’ll do the job better than any cushy soft sleeve

Normally it is positioned on the front zipper side to prevent laptop from falling out if zipper is open or broken or something
