Mine has a different style schrader valve. Set it per instructions and worked the fist time and everytime after. Whisper quiet too.

    I saw immediately that the pump had a cover on the exhaust and the sign says to remove it but four out of 10 times that i used it i forgot to pull that cover it popped off and flew several feet away

    To fill with oil you must remove the exhaust port not the cover

    Once the oil is in the instructions say something about running the pump until it starts to pump
