Rare praise indeed. I saw these in costco a few months ago, and just wasn't ready to part with $200.
Smartsilk comforter has 1/3 the loft of goose-down. Mulberry silk is the best and most resilient and durable quality.

The quilted silk never shifts or bunches up avoiding cold air pockets is bogus! It is not warm at all! Bought it at costco also - taking it back. These silk comforters are quite thin, and no magic will make thin hold heat.

Maintenance although all the maintenance guides that i found online suggest not washing a silk duvet

Conclusion if you absolutely need it to be washable even though it shouldnt be washed see maintenance buy this one but look around for the best price if you dont costco currently has a mulberry filled one by veratex under 200 theyve had it on sale for 160 that is not machine washable

Dry cleaning a silk duvet is expensive the toxic chemicals used degrade the silk and pollute the healthfulness of the duvet and its not great for the planet
