Pros

The scale has a nice heft to it at 786g without batteries. My old scale-manually is still sitting ready to go. The small scale is so accurate, that if you breath on it, it will change.

I really like the quality magnetic box that it comes in. Also the best costumer service. I imagine they use this thing at nasa, it's so complete.

Took one start because the lack of clear instructions on calibrating the 10 kg side. Calibration of the smaller side is very easy with the given calibration weight. Easy to calibrate right out of the box.

The only problem i have is the battery bay, hard to tell the + and - signs for its direction. Every time i check, it's dead-on. There's no other way to contact amazon right now.

Cons

The battery cover also just falls right off - there is no friction or *snap* like most slide-on battery covers. This tells me it is a design flaw. Do not ship with batteries at all, or ship with a reputable battery brand.

The biggest downside of this scale is the inaccuracy. But i see the same issue that plagued my first one, so i need to start looking for a different scale to replace it with.
