You rotate thru the functions by first pushing the stem on the side to wake it up then just run your finger over the face of the watch to change reporting functions

You set the 7 day period in the app as well as selecting what you want the watch to capture and the mode you want to track

Its not as sensitive in the pedometer but the heart rate tracker is pretty on par with the fitbit
