Meross is a smart home app that works with alexa and siri. The app is free to download and use. It works with alexa, siri, and other smart home devices.

Cons

Not very useful for mood lighting. Only works with alexa and not with google home. Meross bulbs are the worst smart bulbs i've ever used. No smart bulb is worth it if you can't use voice controls.

It’s like an obscene lottery or infernal game of whack-a-mole.

It's worse than siri.

Didn't want to share my info (at least not knowingly and voluntarily) with a non-us party. Clearly a coding issue… makes them worthless for my grandmother's home.

About 6 months ago meross released a firmware update and it fixed everything

No special hub required unless a homekit hub is considered required i have a few items that act as one already
