I ended up positioning them on top of my subwoofers and attaching them to the wood enclosures with gentle adhesive pads

I find that as long as i dont set the flow speed all the way to the slowest setting its not really an issue however

Although the product is made of plastic casing it has a matte texture and a certain weight so it does not appear very cheap
