It works as advertised. Durability is the only thing that i can't evaluate yet, but i hope it lasts for many years. It is easy to use, and truly keeps coffee hot; like piping hot.

By using a weightsensitive switch this heat pad stays off unless i have a mug of tea on it

Its simply a button on the bottom of the warmer that is depressed when enough weight is on it
