The fact that you can just put your cup on it and it will start to heat without having to press a button is super likewise with taking it off and having it turn off right away esp

Because the power only starts when the cup is placed on it

As i put the cup on the warmer the weight of the cup presses down on the activation button located on the bottom of the warmer

In reading several reviews on multiple warmers before settling on this one i thought this one had an auto shut off

The only improvement i might suggest is an automatic shutoff since i forgot i still had it on and returned an hour later one morning to the distinctive smell of burning coffee as the small amount left in the bottom of the mug had dried and started smelling from the heat

And i love the fact that when i set my mug on it it turns on when i take the mug off it turns off
