Pros
This is much narrower than a standard tripod ball mount. It holds the camera just that little bit higher so that it's now in line with my prompter text. It also provides an easier target for the screw that attaches the camera to the prompter mount.
Little spacer solves both problems. Add two metal washers to stabilize and horizontally level the mount. Worked as advertised, thx.
Cons
Product is about a half inch tall, if that. It is much smaller for tripod extender for my big lens.

Its just a threaded piece of metal that you can use with standard 1420 screws

First the camera sits a little bit too low so when reading the text im still looking above the lens which defeats the entire purpose of using a prompter in the first place
