Pros
The basic idea behind slick 50 is that provides a teflon lubrication. Been using slick 50 for maybe 18 seems to work well. The tractor is now 19 years old and the slick50 keeps the lifter quiet.
The engine runs quitter. Flushing the coolant system would help a little.
Cons
My brother sticks in a quarter to a third of a bottle with each oil change. When he finally sold his suburban it had 394,000 miles on the engine.

Hed raise the oil pan every morning and let it run for 30 minutes with slick 50 in the oil then hed lower the oil pan and let it run without the oil circulating till he closed up at about 10 pm

After filling it i can hear better from the engine but im v8 so engine sounds still noise
