Pros

Easy in and out thought the top and unzip when not traveling to use as beds. The fabric has more of a sheen than you can tell, which i think makes it stay cleaner.

This was another item i was hesitant to spend the money on; certainly, there are less expensive carriers that would suffice. As a carrier, the fact that it's a familiar shelter really soothes him when traveling.

It buckels securely in the car, very easily, and is made exceptionally well. Bucking is simple. The fact that i can securely strap this into the car is the most important feature.

My dog loves his sleepypod and i can take him anywhere in it- he just curls up and rests comfortably. At the vet, he lays in the bottom like a bed and doesn't mind while they reach in and take his temperature. No barking and no whimpering.

Cons

Sleepy pod needs to come up with an in between size. Makes me hesitant to buy products from this manufacturer. I wish the mesh design was more durable.

Unless you have a 2 or 3 pound cat or dog i would recommend staying away from the mini pod and going with the medium

Also be aware that they don’t pay for return shipping and i spent 45 dollars sending this item back with ups

I can reach back and comfort him through the screen mesh

Instead we alternated which dog went in the sleepypod
