Pros
The atom is a perfect size for my kitten. My 8# chihuahua absolutely loves this. My dog and i like having the top completely open and unzipped when in relax mode. Using it now in 2022 for my new puppy.
It is easy to fasten to the carseat for safety when riding in the car. Very plush interior and easy to carry on my shoulder or secured on the luggage for additional hands-free option.
Cons
The seatbelt barely holds the sleepypod in place. The carrier flops inward if i'm not using the mesh panel to help support the opening. There is a serious lack of airflow.

We used two of these for our two dogs on their first flight which was fairly long over 5 hour flight on united airlines

The only things that would make this bag even better the zippers on the top of the bag were a little difficult to zip up and over the top corners if you want to fold up the top sides of the bag to allow your dogs head to stick out the velcro that secures the top which folds underneath the top handle is not strong enoughor is not positioned well so that one side kept falling down and the long shoulder strap has a padded portion which is difficult to position over your actual shoulder

I only took off one star because it can be a hassle to zip up but totally worth it knowing shes safe inside

It cannot be partially zipped partially open as it is too stiff to fold or roll back
