Pros
The color is very blue and bright. The brightness is perfect. I live on the beach in fl and we have “turtle season’ when it is * to have lights shining on the beaches. It does gives a nice purple glow.
They are just absolutely gorgeous! Very romantic and soothing. Decent value for the money.
Cons
The color is misrepresented in the picture and description. These are no more purple than what you would find in your local home improvement store (hd or lowe). Not red at all.
They aren't terribly bright, and the light thrown off is a florescent-style glow that is also glaring. Light is very dim, sadly this light is not bright enough to see for reading.

My lamp shades are yellowish in the picture and i just replaced my lamps to white shades which really shows the purple now

So use white shades if you want most purple being reflected
