That area is what caused the problems with my previous cords and usually ended up having to twist and bend it to certain angles to get it to work before they finally gave out completely

They usually charge anywhere from 65 80 for this same item at staples or office max

There was also a bit of static when unplugging it from the power strip but we are not sure what caused this could have been the power strip could have been a little overloaded could have been the charger using too much power from the power strip dont know

The brick does not get overly warm and the cables have a tight fit so it isnt coming unplugged all the time which was an issue i had with the oem charger

The item does not appear to be over charging or causing any issues with the laptops battery either

It arrived in a yellow package and was left in my mailbox since i am a prime member it arrived within 2 days
