The blurb concerned me about the severity of the bdsm that would be found within the pages of the book and about whether the bdsm would come from a loving standpoint or be merely gratuitous and hardcore

And some of the scenes are fairly hardcore in that they are meant to portray the violence possible with this lifestyle when one places their trust into those they should not

Sure but barry learned from them and tried to fix what had occurred and thats a character that a reader can enjoy

While we may not be interested in following the path the characters took in this book we can all see how the path they were on worked for them

Readers should be forewarned that there are extreme scenes in this book however they played well to the plot line were credibly carried out and didnt feel gratuitous in nature
