The blocks in this game are smooth but polished smooth and varnished like the game i used to have
I prefer the blocks of this game they grip together better which does make it a little more challenging to pull blocks out but it makes the tower hold together better too
One cool feature of this game is the “restacker” piece in the box
Also i’m not sure if i’ve been playing wrong my whole life or if this is unique to this game’s instructions but i never placed my “pulled” blocks on the skinny side on the top of the tower and then those pieces are out of play
