This is the only smart doorbell i've owned. Notification of someone at your door is instantaneous. My router is on 2nd floor and about 75 feet away from doorbell.

The app works great with the new ios 12. It also helps by factoring out areas that may be affected by weather. It integrates with alexa and nest products.

It's like a restored automobile. It now automatically updates and upgrades to fix the kinks.

Save your money on the ridiculous prices from google, arlo, etc and buy this skybell. No monthy fees for a week's worth of storage is very nice.

The app is flaky and doesn't perform its basic functions anymore. When i select my current skybell and select delete device, it just hangs. I suspect they updated the server code but didn't synchronize the change with whoever can update the app.

Older doorbells are continuously buzzing due to the incompatibility of power capacity. After installing the chimed doorbell, i learn that the skybell only works with the cheaper electronic chimes. No luck, just a sick sounding chime inside the house.

Their customer service people know their product is garbage so they try to make you jump thru hoops to get your money back.

Don't waste your money on this junk. There are better options available to get your monies worth in the long run without the frustration. Don't through your money down the toilet.
