Leaphorn and chee finally join up in skinwalkers. Good plots, no improbable characters or events.
The books are great explorations of navajo life. Navajo lore combined with crime solving suspense. His evocative descriptions of the navajo reservation landscape and people bring their culture and lifestyle alive.
Leaphorn, chee mystery at its best. Anyways, read it. This book keeps you guessing throughout. The best part is when chee and chee solve the case.
This is the seventh leaphorn and chee novel tony hillerman penned. I love the way that hillerman lets his characters speak about what different people and cultures think about life without being preachy.
