I was hoping this syrup would be quite thick similar to that of the real stuff however i was rather disappointed to find it is very runny

This is not an exact replica of standard golden syrup but works in porridge or on pancakes as a sugar free substitute

In baking it doesnt have the same texture as the real thing it doesnt make the flapjacks chewy
