Pros & Cons

Pros

Sk socket sets are coming up on 50 years old and they still look and perform absolutely great. Perfect finish, buttery smooth ratcheting mechanism.

These are the best ratcheting wrenches you can get for high torque applications. It's a six point ratchet which makes for a sure grip and less potential to round off bolts.

I just wish they had a larger sae set to go along with this one. These wrenches are worth every penny. Zero regrets. Way better than snap-on.

These tools feel unusually good in my hand and grip fasteners well. Unlike most of their competitors, these are 100% american made. If you want the best, and want to help support american jobs & manufacturing get these.

Tooth ratcheting wrench has no drawback considering that it's a ratchet. Only drawbacks are 6 point, and no angle at box end. Concerned dirt and grime will work its way into the paws.

Cons

It fits but u know it's going to strip because of that problem.

Quality

A high quality product made in usa

That coupled with the fact that its a 6 point wrench made the job super easy

Sometimes the open end side will not fit on a fastener even with the correct size wrench

I see this as a statement of the quality of sk tools compared to other tool makers

Price

Other reviews complaining about the price is rediculous by craftsman if you want cheap chinese tools

Imo these sk wrenches are top quality and for this price theyre a better value than snap on

Packaging/appearance

I used the open end to break the fastener loose and the ratchet to zip it out

Competitiveness

These wrenches also worked well on tightly clearanced bolts when changing a timing belt on a volvo and rusty bolts on a 1988 ford ranger

After wanting a ratcheting set for awhile i decided to give these a go since they are made in the usa

And these unlike most of their competitors are 100 american made

Company advertising suggests because of its design the ratcheting action can handle more torque than competitors and after seve...  Read More
