Pros

The book is an engaging and relentless page-turner. The blurbs make it sound like a whodunit, but the book is more about exploring our fundamental sense of identity beyond race, gender, * etc.

Structure keeps the plot tantalizingly near, yet obscure. Worldbuilding and character backstories make the whole novel delightfully more than the sums of its parts. Takes most, if not all, of the cliches and no no's of writing and does them masterfull...  Read More

Cons

The story is *, the characters are lame, the dialog is laughable. Characters are dull and inspire no empathy.

I got conned into buying this book by a clever description. Reminded me of a tv show--and not a particularly good one. Stumbles, and falls into a pinball machine.

It has strengths and weaknesses - unfortunately, more of the latter. The writing is somewhat clumsy.
