Difference between this and your average bargain pillow brand is noticeable. This is pretty much in the middle, which is what i would have preferred. Would definitely recommend for any pillow.

It is comfortable but does not get too hot and doesnt seem to bring on any annoying allergic reactions that some of us have to down feathers
